Essay

The Thesis examines the level of study of the problem, analyses the process of formation of the national system of tourism personnel training, and shows the evolution of content and forms of training in the industry. The Thesis determines and substantiates stages of this process: the 1st period being "Preconditions for the Emergence and Origins of the National System of Training (late 19th –50's of the 20th century); the 2nd period being "Formation of the System of Training of Tourism Specialists in the Soviet Period (60 – 80's of the 20th century), the 3rd period being "Formation and Development of the System of Professional Training of the Specialists in the Sector of Tourism in the Independent Ukraine (90's of the 20th century till now) .
