Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to studying morphogenesis of the skeletal bones in adult rats after implantation of the copper enhanced hydroxyapatite implants into the proximal part of the tibia diaphysis. Using modern morpho-logical research methods (osteometry, histimorphometry, biochemical analy-sis, phase X-ray scatter analysis, biomechanical testing and statistical analy-sis) we obtained new data on bone growth, tissue structure, chemical and phase contents of bone mineral and strength features of skeletal bones after implantation of the copper enhanced hydroxyapatite implants into proximal portion of tibial diaphysis. For the first time we described changes in phase contents of bone mineral under effect of copper enhanced implants. We proved that copper enhanced hydroxyapatite implants level negative alterations of the bone morphogenesis after tibia plastics. Optimum copper concentration constitutes 0,25%.
