In the dissertation characteristics the creative aspect of professional activity of designer. The essence is found out, a structure, criteria and indexes of creative competence of future designer are worked out and perspective to its formation are actualized. The creative developing meaningfulness of study of disciplines of computer graphics are outlined. The diagnostics of levels of forming of creative competence of students is conducted. The model of the pedagogical system of forming of creative competence of future designers in the process of study of computer graphics is developed and its efficiency is tested. The pedagogical conditions of increase the level of creative competence of students in the process of study of disciplines of computer graphics are grounded and author special course of "Basis of computer graphics creation" is realized.
