Dissertation is devoted to problems of reliability, safety and operational efficiency of port cranes. The aim is to increase the efficiency of maintenance and repair and the maximum use of a between-repairs resource at operation of mechanisms and swivel boom of port cranes. Results of application of techniques for determining the technical condition of machinery and swivel of port cranes allow a forecast (in confidence interval) to achieve their ultimate state, which allows to plan the volume and time of repairs reasonably.
