Essay

The work is devoted to the study of epizootic monitoring in the regard of swine circovirus infection at 89 farms of Ukraine, biological properties of the agent and clinical forms of infection manifestations. The received data show that in the period of active formation of enzootic centers SCVI clinically manifests mainly as PMWS and in already formed stationary centers mainly as PDNS. SCVI as a monoinfection does not occur and its agent is characterized with a high associative activity and is able to associate with a wide range of infection agents. It was found out that with intraperitoneal infectioning of sucking pigs from parvovirus seropositive breeding sows (n = 4 from 4) an actual for Ukraine epizootic variant of the agent SCV 2 is determined. The determined isolate SCV-2 with intraperitoneal intrusion into the mixture with parvovirus results in the death of not less than 90 % of sucking pigs in 5-7 days after infecting. According to pathohistological and virusological data the isolate "Slobidskiy 09"is able to cause in sucking pigs, infected with the mixture with parvovirus, the primary affect of brain that results in specific for SCV 2 pathological processes in lungs and kidneys. With the help of the determined way of getting bioprobes for SCVI was determined the usage procedure of experimental emulsin-vaccine NSC "IECVM"-KDZVA against SCVI and was optimized the scheme of immunization for feeding sows and vaccine dozage.
