Object - the process of organization of school scientific and methodological work; aim - to find out the changes in the levels of teacher's facilitating attitude formation on the basis of implementing a theoretically grounded and experimentally tested technology of its development as an aspect of school scientific and methodological activity; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research has been the first one to provide a new theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested personality-oriented technology of forming teacher's facilitating attitude as a component of school scientific and methodological work; the essence of teacher's facilitating attitude as a system of personal beliefs that determines his/her definition of purposes, choice of methods and forms of professional activity, his/her role in the teaching process has been specified; forms and methods of organization of school scientific and methodological work directed at forming teacher's facilitating attitude and his/her self-development have been analysed ; results - the developed technology of forming teacher's facilitating attitude as an aspect of school scientific and methodological activity has been experimentally tested, which proves that it should be used in general secondary schools ; field - pedagogy
