Dissertation research is devoted to the problem of the future navigators professional competence formation in the process of special disciplines study. It's analyzed the modern being of problem of professional competence formation of future specialists in dissertation, the essence of conception "professional competence of future navigators" is studied, the basic components, criteria, indexes and levels of professional competence formation of future navigator is defined, the model of professional competence formation of future navigator in the study process of special disciplines is developed. The necessity of purposeful influence on professional competence formation of future navigators is proved. The pedagogical terms of professional competence formation of future navigators in the study process of the special disciplines are grounded and experimentally tested, the technology of professional competence formation which is built on the basis of the task approach is developed and inculcated. The purpose and task of the main stages of model inculcation in the educational process of higher maritime educational establishment are exposed. Quantitative and qualitative results of experimental job confirmed the efficiency of elaborated pedagogical system inculcation and they can be used while innovating the components of future navigators professional training in higher maritime educational establishment, also in the system of post-graduate pedagogical education.
