Essay

Dissertation is the first comprehensive historic and pedagogical study of generation and development of scientific and pedagogical regional ethnography at the universities of Naddnipryanska Ukraine in the late ХІХ century - twenties of ХХ century. The work provides the analysis of regional ethnographic heritage of teaching staff and students of the universities in the context of scientific systematization of ethnographic knowledge and development of theoretical and methodical grounds. There were analyzed the main guidelines of creation of ethnographical awareness of the students at the time of educational and research scientific work. The work explored the process of creation at the Universities of Naddnipryanska Ukraine of scientific and pedagogical ethnography paradigm, and traced back the role of universities scientific societies and institutions, which to some extend were depicted by their printings.
