Gorokhova L. Fear as the Existential of Modern Human Being Existence : social and philosophic analysis

Thesis is dedicated to the research of social and philosophical aspects of fear as the existential of the human being existence. On the basis of the systematic approach the reconstruction of fear problem in different world view traditions from ancient times to nowadays is made. It is proved that fear is not only a psychological state, sense or feeling, but also the existential of modern human being existence. Forms, kinds and social functions of fear as the existential of a human existence are analyzed. Semantic differentiation of the existentials of fear and warning as well as the peculiarities of their influence on the modern human being existence are singled out. Tendencies, reasons and forms of fear demonstration in conditions of global social and cultural transformations are revealed. Fears and risks of the Ukrainian society of system transformations are researched. The aspects of fear influence on human being's existence and possible ways and means of overcoming its negative consequences are found out.
