The object of research is the process of professional formation of the personality of a future teacher of music; the subject of research are the pedagogical conditions of professional formation of future teachers of music in the process of study of musical-theoretical disciplines; the aim of the research consists in a substantiation, the theoretical development and experimental verification of pedagogical conditions of professional formation of future teachers of music in the process of study of musical-theoretical disciplines; methods of research: theoretical (analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, musical, methodical literature); empirical (interviews, conversations, testing, pedagogical experiment (stating and shapes; the scientific novelty of the results: for the first time the essence of professional formation of future teachers of music; scientifically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions and pedagogical technology of the process of professional development; specified the concept of the "professional formation of future teachers of music".
