Essay

The object: professional training of future foreign languages teachers; the aim: to prove scientifically, to work out theoretically and to check the model and technology of project skills formation of future foreign languages teachers in the professional training; methods: analysis, generalising of scientific and methodological literature, state documents in the problem of investigation; analysis of study plans and specialised courses' programmes, modeling, monitoring of the professional activity of future foreign languages teachers, questioning, interviewing, survey; pedagogical experiment (constatating, forming and controlling); methods of mathematical statistics with the aim of quantitative, qualitative and statistical handling of the results and their interpretation; novelty: for the first time pedagogical conditions of project skills formation of future foreign languages teachers (innovation of the contents of future foreign languages teachers professional training to forming of project skills; introducing of inter-subject connections and realization of all directions of students' training (theoretical, methodological, practical) with the aim of project skills formation; employing the elements of contextual learning to future foreign languages teachers project skills formation; formation of motivation to professional activity, development of project skills and the necessity in pedagogical reflexia); scientifically the model of project skills formation of future foreign languages teachers is worked out; the technology of development of aforesaid skills is developed; criteria (motivational, cognitive, technological and reflexive) and indeces (realisation of the importance of project skills formation in the professional activity; motivation of the professional activity; knowledge of the specific traits, conditions, phases and stages of project skills formation, knowledge of methods of teaching foreign languages; ability to project foreign language lessons; understanding of modern technologies of effective foreign languages learning; ability to analyze dynamics of personal pedagogical activity; capacity to self-realization and selfimproving) are defined; levels of project skills formation of future foreign languages teachers are characterized; didactical-theoretical basis of forms and methods of preparing students to project pedagogical activity is specified; the essence of the notions ,,pedagogical projecting", ,,project skills of future foreign languages teachers"; further development was established to professional training of future foreign languages teachers in the sphere of teachers professional skills development. Results: research results can be used in the educational process of higher education institutions with the aim of improving of theory and practice of professional education, namely, in future foreign languages teachers training, in the system of advanced training and retraining of pedagogical specialists, in the selfeducational activity of future tutors.
