Essay

The object of investigation is the process of professional training of future designers in the conditions of higher educational establishments. The aim is to work out, theoretically and experimentally check the model and pedagogical conditions of forming the colour perception of future designers in the process of study the professional subjects. Methods of investigation: theoretical – analysis of the conceptions of leading scientists; comparison of theoretical and empirical data; empirical – diagnostical (testing, questioning); experimental – pedagogical experiment (constatating, forming, controlling); statistical – qualitative and quantitative processing of the results. Novelty: for the first time the model and pedagogical conditions of forming the colour perception of future designers in the process of studying the professional subjects are developed; the system of tasks and assignments directed to the formation of colour perception is created; the criteria (value-motivational, content-operational, cognitive-active, emotionally-associative) and indeces (existence of cognitive interest to professional activity; students’ readiness to overcoming the difficulties of forming the colour perception in the process of studying the professional subjects; definig the individual style and colorit, colour thinking, artistic design, integrity and identity of the image; interrelation of the colour in the perspective; style identity; fundamentality of theoretical knowledge; contents of the colour, usage of colour harmony; the ability of future designers to regularly improve knowledge and skills; emotional-associative perceiving of the light; ability to analyse the colorit in the paintings and graphical design); the peculiarities of professional training of future designers are improved that was reflected in the development and modification of the programmes of professional subjects (“Chromatics”, “The basics of composition”, “Painting”); the esscense of the notions “colour perception”, “colorit”, “colourism” is specified; further development methodological aspects of professional training of future designers in the process of study professional subjects, development in theoretical and practical meaning of creative tasks, directed to formation of colour perception are justified. Results:the results of the research can be used while developing the study plans and programmes, specialised courses in improving the professional level in the system of education.
