Vlasiuk О. Ukrainian political parties in Volyn' (1921 - 1929)

The dissertation comprehensively examines the work of Ukrainian political parties in Volyn' in 1921 - 1929, studied the directions and basic forms of their work, the ideological platform and the general trends of development, inter-party relations and the dynamics of electoral base, classification of representatives of the political camp of Volyn' by ideology. It covers the resistance of Ukrainian political parties polonization, including the assertion of rights of Ukrainians in economic, cultural and educational spheres. It is concluded that despite some errors and shortcomings, the whole political parties contributed to the development of Volyn' Ukrainian national liberation struggle, provided the growth of national consciousness among the population and meet the requirements of time.
