Kocharyan S. The Armenian community of Kharkiv (1863–2010)

The object of the research: Armenian community of Kharkov, Its national-cultural and religious organizations in 1863–2010. The dissertation purpose is the complex analysis of a history of the Armenian community of Kharkov in 1863-2010. Methods: analysis, synthesis, historical-comparative, biographic, historical-genetic. Scientific novelty: on the basis of statistical sources dynamics of the number of the Armenian community of Kharkov from its occurrence before our time is analysed; the role of the Kharkov Armenians in different spheres of life of the city is characterized; the development of the Armenian religious organizations of Kharkov is analyzed; the history of the Armenian national-cultural organizations of Kharkov is analyzed; the archival documents on a history of the Armenian community of Kharkov are entered into a scientific circulation. Practical value of work: the materials of the dissertation can be used at the further scientific research of a history of the Armenian community of Ukraine, during a spelling of generalizing works on a history of national minority of Kharkov and Ukraine, by preparation of the educational editions, special and general courses on a history of Ukraine in higher educational institutions.
