Essay

The thesis discovers the essence of societal capital phenomenon concerning the development of Mankind. A concept of "societal capital" is defined in an integrative way combining ontological, gnosiological, axiological and praxeological aspects. The research of interpretation of traditions is improved. Peculiar features of subject-object-subject relations in societal capital are investigated. The regimes, in which the mankind's societal capital functions, are explicated. To optimize the role of societal capital in self-organization and public administration mechanisms, relating to the development of Mankind and Ukrainian society, the special determinants are grounded.
