Essay

The dissertation focuses on the problem ofovercoming the social deprivation of orphans in comprehensive boarding-schools. On the basis of theoretical studying of numerous research works on the social deprivation of orphans and children deprived of parental care the social-pedagogical particular characteristics of the above mentioned problem are determined; the peculiarities of formation and manifestation of the social deprivation of boarding-school teenagers are clarified; the model of overcoming the social deprivation is worked out in this dissertation. Based on the proposed model the social-pedagogical programme for overcoming the social deprivation of teenagers in boarding-schools is theoretically grounded and experimentally tested.
