Essay

In the dissertation the forming of the urban environment in Chernihiv in the 19th - at the beginning of the 20th centuries is complexly investigated first. The main changes which took place in Chernihiv's life during the 19th - at the beginning of the 20th centuries are analysed, in particular the modern infrastructure forming, the street network forming, adjusting of public transport work and intertown connection, fire prevention and postal service. Housing development of the city is analysed.
