Essay

The thesis deals with the investigation of issues concerning social and pedagogical rehabilitation of battered women. The theory and practice of social and pedagogical rehabilitation of battered women were analyzed, their peculiarities were investigated. The efficiency of social and pedagogical conditions for rehabilitation of battered women was developed, scientifically justified and experimentally proved. It was found out that of social and pedagogical rehabilitation of battered women is the process of implementing a complex of measures of social and pedagogic influence, directed to mitigate any effect of domestic violence, renew destroyed or lost social relations, find self-confidence and belief in positive changes in consciousness and behaviour. Such social and pedagogical conditions as considering the phenomenon of help in social and pedagogical rehabilitation of battered women in the activity of social service; efficient interdepartmental interaction of corresponding units of executive government, law enforcement agencies, social services and non-governmental organizations on the basis of partnership, social justice, and realization of human rights; selecting the effective means of social and pedagogical rehabilitation of battered women were justified, implemented and experimentally proved. The criteria and levels of social and pedagogical rehabilitation of battered women were outlined.
