Essay

Object: Ukrainian National-Democratic Union (UNDO) in the context of social and political processes in Western Ukraine in the first half of 1930s. Objective: to analyze the role and place of the Ukrainian National Democratic Union in the social and political life of Western Ukraine in the first half of 1930s. Methods: analytic, synthetic, logical, inductive, systematic (classification), special-historical: retrospectives, periodization (diachronic), comparative-historical, synchronic, problem-chronological. Results: in the complex studies UNDO activity in 1930-1935 in the context of social and political processes in Western Ukraine in the interwar period of the twentieth century, analyzed the evolution of political strategy and tactics of the party, determined the impact of internal and external factors on this process, grounded place and role of UNDO in social and political life of the first half of 1930s. Scope: scientists at the further development of issues related to Polish-Ukrainian relations 1920-1930's, the development of special courses, preparing lectures, writing manuals of the history of Ukraine in the twentieth century.
