Essay

In the dissertation the role of the foreign language professional literature in the professional training of future doctors has been determined, the content and the structure of the readiness to process the foreign language professional literature in the students of higher medical educational institutions have been defined, the criteria (motivating, cognitive, acting), the indices and the levels (empirically intuitive, reproductive, creative) of its formation have been established. There have been theoretically proved the pedagogical conditions providing this process: the stimulation of the students' motivation; the realization of the intersubject relations of English and Latin; the instruction of the students in the strategies dealing with the foreign language professional text. The methods of the realization of the pedagogical conditions of the formation of the readiness to process the foreign language professional literature in the students of higher medical educational institutions have been developed and experimentally checked up. The teaching recommendations to improve training the future doctors to work with the foreign language professional literature have been proposed.
