Essay

The thesis presents the results of future teachers’ development and theoretical justification of methodological principles of forming graphic competence in technology. Graphic competence is considered as a necessary condition for future teacher readiness to implement the project approach in the technological education of secondary schools’ students. Graphic peculiarities of competence as a necessary component of professional preparation future teachers’ of technology, determined the content and structure. The formation of structural components future teachers’ graphic competence in technology were discovered and proved, it include objectives, training content, components and pedagogical conditions that ensure that process. Devised and substantiated the content and structure of the integrated course technical drawings, providing conditions for the design activity as a basis for forming graphic competence of future teachers in technology. Identified and justified the pedagogical conditions that ensure future teachers’ formation of graphics technology competence, which includes improving the future teachers’ content of graphics technology preparation to meet the needs of the project approach, designing the structure formation of graphic competency-based learner-oriented and active approach, the implementation of an integrated approach to teaching graphic in the process of designing and constructing new products, the use of practice-oriented technologies that enhance the design and graphic work. Developed, justified and experimentally verified the method of forming image of future teachers’ competence in technology.
