Kolisnyk O. The structure and typological characteristics of new media of Great Britain (on the example of internet-newspapers of England)

The dissertation is the first in the Ukrainian journalistic studies complex analytical-synthetic research of internet-newspapers of England. It is outlined the main signs of internet-newspapers as a type of net edition, done the comparative analysis with traditional-paper editions and proposed the scientific definition of a phenomenon. It is given the periodization of the press of England with detailed characteristic of each of historic stages. It is analyzed the scientific accesses to the selection of the types of online-editions, which are done by native and Russian intellectual thoughts. It is predetermined the typological specific of internet-newspapers of England for such signs as the method of creation, subject-thematic direction, language, linguistic-ethic sign, geography, accessibility of information for readers, the number of photos on the entrance page. It is recreated the structure of internet-newspapers, which is predetermined by hypertextual formation of this type of mass media. It is investigated the peculiarities of art construction of net newspapers of England. It is defined the potential and perspectives of the repetition of an experience of internet-newspapers in the Ukrainian internet-journalism.
