YaKYM Y. Education of children-orphans in Polish pedagogics of the interwar period

In the dissertation the problem of education of children-orphans in Polish pedagogics of the interwar period is completely analyzed; on the basis of a comparative analysis the basic definitions of the research in Ukrainian and Polish pedagogical science are concretized, the preconditions of the development of the idea, theoretical and methodological principles of education of children-orphans in the works of Polish pedagogues of the interwar period are grounded; the contribution of Polish pedagogues to formation and development of institutional forms of education of children-orphans in Poland during 1918 - 1939 is generalized; the importance of ideas of Polish pedagogues concerning education of children-orphans for the Ukrainian society is outlined. On the basis of the results of this research the special course program "Education of children-orphans in Poland: history and the present time" has been developed.
