Essay

This thesis is dedicated to the research of written, archaeological and iconographic matters related to the historical phenomenon of the lost monumental painting of Galicia-Volhynia principality. The results of archaeological studies of the monumental painting in the temples of Galicia-Volhynia principality have been analyzed and systemized; the information about it has been introduced in the scientific use. A methodology to research and to scientifically process such objects using the results of interdisciplinary researches has been elaborated.
