The retrospective analysis of socially political, culturally educational and socially economical preconditions had been carried out in the dissertation, as the main factors of Ivan Doschivnyk creation as a teacher, writer, philologist and culturally educational figure (family upbringing, social environment, personalias' influence, cultural and educational environment). Main life landmarks and major tendencies of his pedagogical activity had been defined and characterised (scientifically pedagogical, scientifically methodological, scientifically publicistic, public and culturally educational).
