Essay

This thesis shows the theoretical and experimental study of technology and new drug «Aromadent plus» in the form of a gel for the treatment and prevention of inflammatory periodontal diseases. For the first time comprehensively studied gelling agent (hydroxyethyl cellulose) and gel base. On the basis of microbiological and pharmacological studies selected active ingredients and their concentrations - essential oils of tea tree and eucalyptus and sodium chondroitin sulfate. Investigated the osmotic activity of the drug developed. Pharmacological studies confirmed the specific activity and safety of the proposed drug «Aromadent plus». Physicochemical, rheological and processing characteristics of the developed gel proved its stability during storage for two years at room temperature in tubes of aluminum.
