Khrapenko O. The Improvement of the Prosecution Service in Protection of Juveniles’ Rights and Freedoms.

The presented thesis is a complex research of theoretical and practical problems in rights protection activity of the prosecution concerning juveniles. In the dissertation the author defines the concept of the rights protection activity of the prosecution in the above mentioned sphere while exercising its constitutional functions; the problems of prosecutor’s supervision as well as other types of rights protection are also covered. Special attention is given to the peculiarities of the rights protecting activity in the assuring the juveniles’ rights to education, to dwelling and property, especially for those who need increased social protection, the right to adoption, in the criminal law sphere – when investigating the crimes concerning juveniles, and in criminal-executive sphere – the rights of the minors who have been sent to special correctional-educational facilities. On the basis of the research some theoretical conclusions have been made and several practical recommendations have been given.
