Essay

The content of the systemic global quality standards of higher medical education has been described. It involves all significant aspects of undergraduate medical education - the structure, content, process and outcomes. It has been ascertained that international standards of higher medical education quality were elaborated to meet the needs of their modifications at the regional, national, institutional levels with due regard for national peculiarities in medical personnel training caused by specific educational and cultural traditions, political and economic conditions, health status and morbidity nature of the population, health care system organization of the country.
