Panasiuk R. Creating and activity of Ukrainian national union (1918 -1919).

The history of Ukrainian National Union was research in the dissertation. The main reasons and premises of creating UNU were determinate. The author made detailed analysis of organizing structure and characterized copartners of union. Ukrainian National Union was consisted from political parties with different point of view on the aims of union. That's why the author certified presence continual latent struggle between them for the power. This struggle was prolonged even after the Hetman's abdication. The author investigated process of creating local branches of UNU and their activities in regions. Participation of Ukrainian National Union in preparation and conducting of rising against Hetman were described. The main ways of activities UNU after the victory of Directory UPR were investigated in the dissertation.
