Essay

The dissertation deals with the investigation of Ievhen Sverstiuk's publicism, in particular with its conceptual and figurative content, in the context of social and communicative processes of the Ukrainian modern society. The complex analysis of philosophical and world-view paradigm of the "man of the sixties" has been carried out and the way of its implementation on the ideological and aesthetic level in Ievhen Sverstiuk's pulicistic discourse. The ideological and stylistic, conceptual, critical priorities of Ievhen Sverstiuk's image system have been defined. The formation of myths and metaphor-making as the basis of conceptual reinterpretation of reality were established, considering the research of analytical and constructive intentions of the author concerning the renewal of the Ukrainian identity. The ways of forming receptive mutual relations "author - reader" in Ievhen Sverstiuk's publicistic text are analyzed in accord with communicatively-informative aspect publicistic creativity. In the course of the author's poetics research and the implementation of the view-point function of his publicistic creative work in general, specifying a broad social and historical cultural context, there have been defined the ways of intellectual-spiritual enrichment in sociocultural communication sphere of Ukrainian society throughout the interpretation of a conceptual originality of conceptual and figurative display of the validity in Ievhen Sverstiuk's publicism.
