Grechishkina O. Pioneer Children's Movement in the USSR in 1929-1939: the Ideological and Political aspect

Object: the process of formation and development of children's pioneer movement in the Soviet Ukraine in 1929-1939; objective: to identify key tasks, forms and methods of educational work in pioneer organizations and their relationship to the overall objectives of government in reeducation; methods: problem-chronological, comparative-historical, statistical; results: components of leadership system of Pioneers of the Ukrainian Republic are extracted basic characteristics of the children's movement ideology are revealed, trends, forms and methods of ideological education of pioneers are defined, the process of children's movement in mass campaigns of power is highlighted, militarization of society in the analyzed period as a deliberate massive campaign of power, which included a militarization of the consciousness of citizens and military training of civilians is considered; novelty: a new view on the development of the pioneer movement of the republic in close relation to the political objectives of the Bolshevik authorities is grounded, basic principles of management of children's movement are identified, tendencies of strengthening control over it by the parties, personnel problems of children's movement are analyzed, main directions of ideological work of Bolshevik Party in the children's environment of the republic are revealed and systematized; field: history of Ukraine.
