Arkhypova I. Information security: social-philosophical aspect

The thesis devoted to the complex social and philosophical study of information security problem and find ways to minimize the destructive information impact on the consciousness and practical being of modern globalized society. The dialectical unity of the concepts of "security" and "danger" is exposed. Information security is defined as a state of immunity of consciousness, feelings and practices of social actors to information threats realization of which could break the security of information or cause destructive informational influence on the subject of information relations. The model of information danger is formulated. The nature of threats and risks of human subjectivity degradation as person's ability to form and creative realization of their own position is explored. It is proved that the development of information culture and education of people is the important means of countering threats to security of individuals and society.
