Essay

Dissertation is a socially-philosophical conceptualization of the social life of sports. Defined scientific and theoretical foundations of socially-philosophical analysis of sport, outlined its essential features, stages of development, functions, classification. We consider the potential human of sport, its positive and negative vectors. Substantiates the conclusion that sport stands as one of the factors of socio-cultural development of societies, cultural projection for self-identity. We give a understanding of the problem field of modern sport. Defined determinants optimize further development of sports in Ukraine.
