Kurylo O. The region appeal court's problems of work organization.

The author reviews theoretical standards of organization of work of the region appeal court taking into account positions of Constitution and legislation of Ukraine, international standards in the sphere of judiciary, legislation of foreign countries, and legal practices of state organs. It is stated that organization of work of court should be based on two fundamental principles: independence of judges and courts and transparency of judicial system. The judicial management is defined as an aggregate of administrative influences, aimed to providing of high efficiency of judicial activities, proper functioning of the system of justice. The chief of the court's office (judicial administrator) is the main subject of current administration of court's affairs. He is accountable for the proper organization of the establishment's day-to-day functioning and should free the chief judge of the court from executing utility tasks. The structure of the court's office is examined, and functions and powers of major public servants of the office are defined. On the results of research recommendations on the improvement of court's management are given and the package of typical constituent documents for the court's office is presented.
