The dissertation is dedicated to research into the organizational and legal aspects of the prosecutor's representation of interests of a citizen or of the state in enforcement proceeding. Reasons and grounds for prosecutor's joining the enforcement proceeding were analyzed, an order (procedure) of obtaining by the prosecutor a status of a participant of the enforcement proceeding was described and the legal status of the prosecutor in the enforcement proceeding was defined. The large attention was given to particularities of the enforcement of rights by the prosecutor during enforcement procedures, arrangement of the prosecutor's work in the enforcement proceeding, improvement of the effectiveness of the prosecutor's measures. There were made suggestions concerning the improvement of the applicable legislation that governs the prosecutor's participation in the enforcement proceeding and practice in its application.
