Fedorak N. The Activity of the Ukrainian public leagues in Halychyna for a social defense of the population (20s-30s of the XXth century).

It has been investigated in the thesis ideaed - organizational establishment of mass, professional and socio-oriented Ukrainian public organizations in Halychyna in 20s-30s of the 20th century and their role in solution the social problems of the population in the region.It has been enlightened the contents, forms, trends of the activity of "Prosvita", "Sils'ky Hospodar", "Ridna Shkola" leagues, youth, students, female, philistine leagues and numerous specialized public organizations for giving some material help to war victims and social care for children and youth; social - legal defense of different levels of the Ukrainian population; medical and sanitarian - hygeia service; struggle against drunkenness and solution other vital social problems of Halych Ukrainians.
