Chernukha O. The formation and activity of internal affairs bodies of the Kharkiv region during the years of New Economic Policy (1921–1929)

The object of the research: internal affairs bodies of Ukraine. The dissertation purpose: to carry out the complex analysis of formation and practical activity of internal affairs bodies of Kharkov region in the period of New Economic Policy. Methods: analysis, synthesis, historical-comparative, quantitative-statistical, historical-genetic, classification and typologization. Scientific novelty: the complex analysis of formation and practical activity of internal affairs bodies of the Kharkiv region in the period of New Economic Policy is carried out; the condition and dynamics of criminality is analyzed, thus is found out, that they, first of all, depend on such factors, as a level of security and employment of the population, absence of legal culture at the majority of the citizens. Practical value of research: the materials of the dissertation can be used at a spelling of special courses on a history of law-enforcement bodies of Ukraine, at creation of generalizing works on a history of internal affairs bodies of Ukraine, and also for teaching of general courses of a domestic history. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
