The current study was undertaken to determine the impact of mycoplasma infection on the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease: IV and V st.: glomerulonephritis. It was studied 152 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis and renal failure . Cytokine (IL-1,IL-10), lymphocyte subpopulation (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD16+, CD19+), concentration of IgA, IgM, IgG, complement, phagocytosis function and lymphocytotoxic autoantibodies in blood content of patients having chronic glomerulonephritis were investigated. We delineated the changes in T-cell populations and their activation after mycoplasma infection, the study demonstrated reliable increase of CD4+, CD16+ and CD19+, concentration of IgA, complement and lymphocytotoxic autoantibodies, deplition of CD8+ and phagocytosis function, interleukin-1 and interleukin-10 activity in blood serum demonstrated reliable increase in comparison with patients having chronic glomerulonephritis without mycoplasma infection and normal in healthy donors. The course of glomerulonephritis in presence of mycoplasma infection has servere clinical course and deeper changes of kidney function.
