Segal N. The category of space in the Russian language political discourse: linguo-cognitive aspect

Object - category prostir that is verbalized in language by lexical and phraseological units of secondary category; goal - to identify and characterize the language means of prostir categorization in the modern Russian-speaking political discourse; methods - descriptive, inductive, identification, method of component analysis, method of analysis of cognitive oppositions; method of contextological analysis; method of linguistic modeling; novelty – it was proposed firstly the analysis of semantic organization’s specifity and functional features of lexical units that form binominal oppositions frame of the category prostir, it was defined frame-and-slot structure of the category prostir and it was separated its metaphorical models in Russian political discourse; results - comprehensive research of category prostir with discovery of language means of its implementation on the level of the secondary category in political discourse; it was defined associative and pragmatic potential of keywords; it were defined metaphorical models that represent text in view of horizontal and vertical vectors; branch - lexicology, terminology, cognitive linguistics, lexicography.
