The thesis deals with the study in the Ukrainian historical journalism of press of national-patriotic discussions that took place on the pages of emigration of Ukrainian-Canadian Press in the early twentieth century (till 1945) as a phenomenon in the fight for independence of Ukraine. The scheme of conceptual analysis of political journalism, taking into account the parameters distinguishing concepts of their actualization, including multi-marker "template" for the selection of concepts in journalistic texts in the context of national-patriotic discourse is analyzed.
