Essay

The thesis is the complex research studying the processes of Ukrainian-Argentinean contacts' formation and development in the East and West Ukraine at the end of XIX - in the first third of XX century. The last quarter of XIX century was the time of genesis of contacts with Argentina, and the ethnic Ukrainian lands were parts of Austria-Hungary and Russia. The foundation of Argentine Republic's consulates in Lvov and Odessa contributed to extension of commercial ties and enlargement of emigration movement from Ukrainian lands to Argentina, because the real part of the emigrants was Jews.
