Kharchenko A. The merchant’s family of the Slobozhanchina in the end of XVIII – the beginning XX-th century

The object of the research: history of merchants of the Slobozhanchina Слобожанщины in the end of XVIII – the beginning of XX century. The dissertation purpose: the complex characteristic of the merchant’s family of the Slobozhanchina in the end of XVIII – the beginning of XX century, analysis of historical-demographic, economic, cultural and social processes in the merchant’s family of region. Methods: pearsonological, biographic, prosopographical; methods of a historical demography; methods of the statistical analysis; historical-genetic, historical-typological, historical-system and structural analysis. Scientific novelty: for the first time in domestic historiography the research of the merchant’s family of the Slobozhanchina in the end of XVIII – the beginning of XX century is carried out; the work has enabled to reproduce the versatile and scientifically proved picture of social development of institute of family on an example of historical-geographical region - the Slobozhanchina. Practical value of research: the results of research can be used by preparation of scientific works, textbooks and manuals on a history of Ukraine, social history, in teaching general and special courses in a higher school.
