Sereda O. The Ukrainian art press of Galicia of the 20-30 yrs of the XX century: historical & functional and problematic & typological aspects

In the dissertation the comprehensive research of Ukrainian interwar press of Galicia as multi-facet and multiple-aspect culturological phenomenon in the national journalism system of the XX century has been made. Genesis' history and circumstances of art's periodicals' functioning have been examined, a typological analysis has been conducted and objectives and specifics of the art's publications, in particular publicistic materials, have been explored. Publishers, editors and journalists of the researched editions have been figured out, a number of pseudonyms and cryptonyms of the authors have been disclosed. The main problem-topical vectors of art's journalism have been defined, a role of that press in socio-cultural development of Galician Ukrainians has been underlined.
