Object: vocational and educational training of students of music and teaching faculties of pedagogical universities and colleges; goal: to prove scientifically, theoretically developed and experimentally verify the technique of professional readiness of students of music and teaching faculty for independent study of instrumental compositions, methods: theoretical, empirical, experimental , analytical, novelty: for the first time developed and theoretically justified method of forming the professional preparedness of future music teachers to self-study tool works, conceptual framework: professional-oriented content, structure and function of future music teachers, analysis of theory and practice of independent work of students of Music and educational faculties, the model of the general techniques of independent work on a music composition at different stages of vocational and educational training of future teachers, the concept of "system of common methods of independent music and cognitive activity" concept of "professional readiness of future teachers to self-study tool works". The criteria and indicators outlined levels of professional training of the future music teachers to self-study tool works, the further development of acquired various aspects of professional formation of future music teachers for independent study of instrumental works, which allows music teachers to adjust their professional activities and is the basis his willingness to musical education of the young generation; results: grounded and realized the main stages of experimental work on the formation of common methods students' independent work on instrumental compositions. In teaching practice implemented method of forming the professional preparedness of future music teachers to self-study tool works. The method put into theoretical and practical training in instrumental training university students in Ukraine. A training and guidance on "Intersubject relations during complex training and teaching students of musical schools" (for undergraduate and graduate students in "Music Education"). The technique can be used in the preparation of masters and in-service training for teachers of music; specialty - theory and methods of professional education.
