Essay

Object: the electrical activity of the cerebral cortex of young right-handed dealing with acyclic and cyclic sports. Purpose: determination of features of spatial electric activity of the cerebral cortex of young right-handed dealing with acyclic and cyclic sports in conditions of functional rest of the closed and open eyes and during performance of cognitive tasks "Attention" and "Reproduction of words." Methods: electrophysiological, statistic analysis. Results: In all test situations, a group of athletes acyclic and cyclic sports are characterized by lower alpha synchronization and theta range in the cerebral cortex and highest - in the beta range compared with the control group, resulting in fewer meaningful and coherent communication in high alfa-and teta-range and more - in the beta-range. Group athletes acyclic sports marked higher level of coherence and lower values of SPD in our subjects ranges EEG compared with a group of athletes cyclic sports regardless of the type testing. Performance of cognitive tests under cyclic sports athletes accompanied by a generalized decrease of beta-rhythm coherence compared with a group of athletes acyclic sports, especially between frontal, central, temporal and parietal areas of the cerebral cortex. It is introduced in an educational process. Field of the use: human and animal physiology, psychophysiology.
