The public-geographical analysis of regional specificity and interregional features of dissemination of poverty of population in the Lugansk region had been conducted in the Thesis. On the basis of analysis of previous researches an integral conception of public-geographical research of poverty in the region of regional (oblastj) level had been formulated, as well as an author method of study of degree of danger of dissemination of poverty had been worked out in the cut of administrative-territorial units of the Lugansk region.
