This research study uses philosophical analysis of the patterns to be able to identify key trends, characteristics and consequences of migration processes in Ukraine in an era of globalization. The phenomenon of migration is analyzed as a certain type of the society's existence that gives people an opportunity to carry out their life activities by changing place of residence. Migration is defined as territorial movement of people connected with intersection of either external or internal borders of the administrative-territorial entities aimed at change of their place of residence for the purpose of studying or work.
