Essay

In the dissertation on the basis of studying of a considerable complex of archival documents, materials of the periodic press and scientific literature the main tendencies and activities of the Northern Left bank Ukraine local museums in 1917-1937 for the first time are investigated. Theoretical bases and principles of creation of an exposition in local museums of the region are defined. Negative influence of cultural life denationalization and dehumanization on conditions of museum collections, professional level of museum employees, and esthetic design of expositions are analyzed.
