The thesis deals with the analysis of the election campaigns and the election processes to the first-fourth convocations of the State Duma of the Russian Empire and the work of the Volynian deputies in it. The number of deputies from Volyn was defined, their social, ethnic and political groupings were pointed out. The attitude of the population of the province to them was studied.
