Dyakova O. Resistance Movement in Kharkiv region during the Nazi occupation

The object of the research – Resistance Movement in Kharkiv region during the Nazi occupation (1941-1943). The dissertation purpose: basing on the complex analysis, generalization and critical studying of a scientific heritage, processing of the documents collections and archival materials to analyse Resistance Movement in Kharkiv region, to deter-mine its characteristic features. Methods: problem-chronological, comparative, genetic, statistical, structural, functional; behaviouristic and method of a social grid. Scientific novelty: on the basis of regulations and directives of state, republic and regional authorities, published and unpublished archival documents, memories of the combatants, use of literature and all of these show the activity of the government, communist party and komsomol (youth communist organization) leaders, organs of People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs, military command in the formation of guerrilla groups and creation of the network of underground in this region, it highlights the most important facts of activity of people's avengers, the main forms of struggle against the enemy are defined; soviet, nationalist, and patriotic trends of Resistance Movement were characterized; the certain factors which affected the scope of anti-fascist struggle of the population in Kharkiv during 1941 – 1943 were emphasized and the participation of guerrillas in military operations on their native land; efficiency of Resistance Movement is reflected in the area and its contribution to the victory over Germany. Practical value of research: actual material, generalization and the conclusions can be used in research of a history of Ukraine, in particular, of period Second world and Great Domestic wars, for preparation of the methodical manuals, lecture courses and seminar employment, diploms, course works, and works on study of the local-lore. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
